The hydrangea garden at cape Togenkyo in Miyazaki prefecture.
About 2 million hydrangeas of 80 varieties are planted on a vast site of 200,000 square meters facing the sea.
I’ve been wanting to visit this place ever since I saw it on other photographer’s post.
The scenery of colorful flowers with the ocean in the background was wonderful just as I expected.

The best time to see hydrangeas

Between early and mid of June.

Opening hours

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Entrance fee

1000 yen.

Access

10 minutes by taxi from Kadokawa station.
